When renting, you will have viewing access for three days after your purchase. After this period expires you will need to rent the feature again to renew your access.

Our All Access Pass grants viewing access to our entire catalogue for 1 year, which renews automatically until cancelled.

First, check to see if you are still logged in to Pinchgut At Home. To do this, look at the top menu bar, and if you see the words "My Account" in between the "Gift Cards" link and the Shopping Cart icon, you are logged in.

If you can see the "Log In" button between the "Donate" and "Shopping Cart" buttons on the top right hand side of your desktop computer or laptop, or if you are on your tablet or mobile device, click the button that appears as three lines in the top right-hand side of the homepage to open the menu. Click to Log In and the log in page will load. Then fill in your email address and password linked to your Pinchgut at Home account (this will be different from the login you may have used to purchase live performance tickets through Opera Australia or Pinchgut Opera's new ticketing site).

If you have forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password" link on the Log In screen to reset it.

If you are logged in, you can check your purchased features by clicking the "My Account" link in the menu at the top of the screen. You can click the links to your titles on your My Account page, or navigate to each title, via the Home button, and scrolling to your desired feature.

You will see a "View Feature" button on the feature page of the titles you have purchased. Simply click this button to open the video player window.

Then click the play button in the bottom left-hand corner of the video player window to start the film. You can view full screen mode by pressing the four arrows icon in the bottom right hand corner of the video window.

To redeem a Gift Card voucher, you will need to create a Pinchgut At Home account, then add the items you wish to view to your Shopping Cart. Upon checkout, you can add your Gift Voucher number in the field provided, so the amount of money on the Gift Card can be applied against your purchases.

There are many factors that influence video playback. You can try the following fixes if you are experiencing buffering issues:

  1. SWITCH TO “AUTO” IN THE QUALITY MENU, IF AVAILABLE
This will automatically adjust to the best quality of video for your current internet connection and processing speed. If auto is not available, switch to one of the lower quality options.
  2. CHECK YOUR BANDWIDTH
To watch videos online a fast internet connection is needed. To check your connection go to Speedtest.net and check your connection. It is recommended that you have a download speed of at least 1Mbps.
  3. DISABLE ANY BROWSER EXTENSIONS, PLUGINS, OR ADD ONS
Third party resources can sometimes cause playback issues. If you’re having trouble loading the video try disabling any active extensions one-by-one to identify the cause, or open your video in an incognito/private window for testing.
  4. RESTART YOUR ROUTER AND MODEM
Resetting your router and modem can help refresh your connection and improve playback performance. Disconnect the power cord then reconnect after 10 seconds to perform a hard reboot.
  5. UPDATE YOUR BROWSER
Make sure you are using the latest version of your browser for peak performance. The latest version of each browser can be found at browsehappy.com
  6. CLOSE EXCESS BROWSER TABS AND/OR APPLICATIONS
Keeping too many applications open can result in playback issues. Make sure you completely close or disable any background apps that could be straining your playback device’s performance.
  7. CLEAR YOUR BROWSER’S CACHE
Refreshing your cache can help improve playback performance. Visit refreshyourcache.com for more information.
  8. DISABLE/ENABLE HARDWARE ACCELERATION
Hardware acceleration helps resource-hungry operations run smoother, however this can also cause performance issues if used with older graphics cards. Try enabling or disabling this option in your browser settings.
